Arizona Notary Acknowledgement Forms
The Arizona notary acknowledgement forms are certificates authorized by a licensed notarial officer which recognize the authenticity of a signature on a legal instrument. The certificates confirm that the signing party, whom the notary has identified as the individual described in the document, appeared before the officer and attested that the signature was their own. Where notary acknowledgements are concerned, Arizona notaries are not obligated to be present when the signature is provided (the document may be pre-signed, or it may be signed in front of the notary). Nonetheless, the individual must perform the acknowledgement in the presence of the notary for the notarization to take place.
