Arizona Notary Acknowledgement – Individual Acting as Principal by an Attorney In Fact

The Arizona notary acknowledgement for an individual acting as principal by an attorney in fact is a record confirming that an attorney in fact (someone authorized to conduct transactions on behalf of a principal) has willfully provided their signature on a document. Verification of the signature can only be made by a notary public or other individual authorized to make acknowledgements (e.g., judge, court clerk). The attorney in fact must visit the notarial officer in-person and provide satisfactory identification. If the officer believes that the attorney in fact is qualified to execute the corresponding document, the officer will fill out the acknowledgement form to validate the signature.
