Minnesota Notarial Certificate – Attestation of Copy

The Minnesota notarial certificate for the attestation of a copy of a document is a notarial form that simply certifies the copy of a document. This certificate does not recognize the signatures inscribed within the document nor does it attest to the truthfulness of the contents of the document. To obtain this type of notarization, one must appear before a notary public with both the original and the copy of the document. The notary public will make sure it is a true and exact copy and, if it is, they will sign and stamp the notarial certificate.
