Utah Notary Acknowledgement forms are documents which state that a legal instrument was completed for the purposes stated therein, and by the individual who has presented themselves before the notary public. A document will need notarization to authenticate a signature and, in turn, authenticate the instrument itself and place it into effect. The notarization enables the signer to acknowledge their own signature as true and accurate. The notary acknowledgement form must be completed by the notary public once the identity of the signer has been proven and the signature acknowledged. The officer will furnish the form with their signature and seal thus completing the notarization process.
