Texas Notary Acknowledgement – Ordinary Certificate

The Texas Notary Acknowledgement form is the standard document used to provide proof of an acknowledgement made by an individual signing on their own behalf. The principal signer will need to locate a notary public in their area, provide them with the legal document they need notarized, and (if the notary doesn’t have their own) a blank notary acknowledgement form. The officer will then identify the principal through physical ID or personal knowledge, ensure that they executed the document for the purposes contained therein, and complete the notarial certificate thus notarizing the principal’s signature and document.

Laws – § 121.001-§ 121.015
