New Hampshire Notarial Certificate – Witnessing or Attesting a Signature

The New Hampshire notarial certificate for witnessing or attesting a signature is a written verification of an individual’s signature which is supplied or attested to before a notary public. If the individual has already signed the document, the notary will need to verify the signature by comparing the one on the document to the one on the signer’s photo ID (driver’s license, passport, etc.). Once the notary has verified the individual’s identity and signature, they must fill out the notary acknowledgement to notarize the signature.
