A Maine notary acknowledgement form for a corporation is a notarial certificate referring to an acknowledgement made by an officer/agent/representative of an entity or association to a notary public. This notarial certificate is attached to a legal instrument (or included at the end of the document) and presented to a notary public, who will verify the identity of the signatory and ask if they signed the document under their own free will. Once the notary has confirmed the identity and the declaration, they will complete the corporation notary acknowledgement form thus completing the notarization process.
