Idaho Notary Acknowledgement – Partnership

The Idaho notary acknowledgement for a partnership is used to authenticate the signature given by a partner of a partnership. The acknowledgement certificate proves that the partner willfully executed a document on behalf of the partnership they represent. When administering the notarial act, the notary public must identify the signer and ensure they are the person named in the instrument being notarized. After the identity is proven, the partner must make a statement in the presence of the notary affirming the validity of the signature. The notary will take the acknowledgement statement and officially notarize the document by finalizing the notarial acknowledgement certificate.

Laws – § 51-116
