The Arizona notary acknowledgement for a public officer, trustee, or personal representative is a written declaration stating that a public officer, trustee, or personal representative has provided their signature on a document freely and with competency. A notary public must identify the signing party and make sure they are signing (or have signed) for the reasons specified in the document. After the signature is acknowledged by the individual, the notary public may execute the acknowledgement form to notarize the document.
