The Alaska notary acknowledgement for an individual acting as principal by an attorney in fact is used to ensure the authenticity of an individual’s signature on a document. This acknowledgement form is specifically designed to confirm the signature provided by an attorney in fact acting on behalf of the principal individual. A notary public will need to verify the identity of the signing party to make certain they are suited to sign the instrument requiring notarization. Furthermore, the notary must be convinced that the attorney in fact is providing their signature willfully.
