The Washington Individual Notary Acknowledgement form is a document used to prove that a signature on a legal instrument is legitimate. It is necessary that the individual seeking notarization present themselves before the notarial officer, prove their identity, and state that they inscribed their signature as an act of their own free will and for the purposes relayed in the document. The notarial officer will complete the form with the name of the individual, the date of the notarization, their signature, and their official stamp and seal.
