The South Dakota Notary Acknowledgement form for a Corporation enables an authorized officer to represent the corporation and sign a document on its behalf. The acknowledgement form will prove that the legal instrument in question contains the true signature of the corporate representative, that they had authority to sign the document and proved their authority to the notary public, and that they appeared before the notary public with sufficient proof of their identity.
