Oklahoma Individual Notary Acknowledgement

Oklahoma individual notary acknowledgement forms are the most commonly used type of notarial certificate and are used for certifying signatures made by individuals signing on their own behalf. In order for certain legal instruments to be valid, the signature(s) made upon them must be acknowledged before a notary public. To accomplish this, the signatory must personally bring a signed copy of the document (with the acknowledgement form attached) to a notary public. The notary will verify the signature by examining the individual’s photo identification and signature(s). Once the notary has reasonable belief that the individual is the authentic signer of the document, they will fill out, sign, and stamp (or emboss) the notary acknowledgement form.
