The New York notary acknowledgement for corporations is a certificate that should be attached to a legal instrument that is signed by an individual who acting on behalf of a corporation. A notary public will have to administer this acknowledgement by having the representative identify themselves and swear their personal address and signing authority. The notary must view the signed instrument before completing the acknowledgement form. Furthermore, the signer must be the president, officer, director, or attorney in fact of the corporation in order for the instrument to be valid.
