North Dakota Notary Acknowledgement – Corporation

The North Dakota notary acknowledgement for a corporation is a notarial certificate which must be attached to certain legal instruments that have been signed on behalf of a corporation. The form must be completed by a notary public, and its purpose is to certify the signature of the individual who has signed acting as a corporate representative. The signatory must bring the signed instrument to a notary public and attest that they have the authority to sign and execute said document on behalf of the corporation concerned. Before acknowledging the individual’s signature, the notary must confirm their identity by personal knowledge, viewing two (2) pieces of identification, or by having a credible witness testify on their behalf.
