Michigan Notary Acknowledgement – Co-Partnership

Legal documents executed by a partner of a co-partnership that require notarization must have a Michigan co-partnership notary acknowledgement form attached thereto in order to obtain an acknowledgement for the instrument in question. The signing partner must appear before a notary public with the instrument and, if the notary public does not know the signer personally ,they will ask for identification. Next, an acknowledgement must be made by the signatory claiming that their signature was inscribed in the absence of coercion. The notary will fill out the co-partnership acknowledgement form and include their signature, officially notarizing the document.
