The Connecticut notary acknowledgement for a registered limited liability partnership is used when the partner of a registered limited liability partnership executes a document on behalf of the organization. The individual seeking notarization of a document must appear before a notary public and provide sufficient evidence of their identity, and evidence of their authority to sign on the partnership’s behalf. The individual must then acknowledge that their signature was given freely and without persuasion. Following acknowledgement, the notary will complete the acknowledgement certificate to validate the signature.
A statutory short form of this acknowledgement certificate is also available (download in PDF or Word).
