Connecticut Notary Acknowledgement – Corporation

The Connecticut notary acknowledgement for a corporation is a document proving that a corporate officer personally appeared before a notary public, that the notary confirmed the officer’s identity, and that the individual willfully signed a corporate document. The corporate official must also provide the notary with evidence of their authority to conduct transactions on behalf of the corporation. Once the notary is sure of the officer’s identity and corporate authority, the notary will execute the acknowledgement certificate to notarize the document.

Corporate officers may also be interested in employing the use of a statutory short form acknowledgement certificate, available for download in PDF and Word.
