The Alabama notary acknowledgement for an individual acting in a representative capacity is used to validate the signature of an individual who has signed a legal document on behalf of a third party. The individual may be representing another individual or an entity, such as a company or partnership. The acknowledgement must be completed by a notarial officer who has verified the identity of the signer. Furthermore, the representative is required to present themselves to the notary in person with a copy of the signed document. The notary will complete the notarization process by filling out the acknowledgement and affixing their notary seal.
