The Alaska notary acknowledgement for a corporation is to be used by a corporate officer or agent when signing a legal document on behalf of the organization. The acknowledgement indicates that the individual’s signature was provided wilfully and with competency. Both the legal document and the acknowledgement must be presented to the notary public by the officer or agent. After the notary reviews the document and ensures that the signature was/will be provided for the purposes stated therein, the notary public shall acknowledge the signature by completing the acknowledgement form.
