The Michigan limited partnership notary acknowledgement is reserved for notarizing legal instruments that have been signed by a partner or agent of a limited partnership. Once the partner/agent has signed the document, they must present it to a notary public for notarization. The signatory will be asked to show proof of identity and to make an acknowledgement declaring the signature on the document was inscribed as their own free act and deed. If the notary is satisfied with this information, they will complete the acknowledgement form.
