The Nevada notarial certificate for execution of jurat is used when a jurat is required for a legal instrument to be put in action. A “jurat” is when an individual attests to a notary public that a legal instrument is truthful and has been signed in the notary’s presence. Furthermore, the notary must administer an oath or affirmation, which the signer must respond to in the affirmative. After confirming the interested party’s identity, the notary must complete the notary acknowledgement form and provide their notary seal.
