The Nevada notary acknowledgement for an individual who is acting in a representative capacity is used when an authorized officer, agent, partner, or trustee is providing their signature on behalf of a corporation, partnership, trust, or other third party. For this type of acknowledgement, the notary public only needs to be provided with photo ID by the representative and a copy of the signed document that is being acknowledged. Once the notary has verified the representative’s signature, they can complete the notary acknowledgement form.
