The South Dakota Partner Notary Acknowledgement is used to authenticate the signature and identity of a document’s signatory. In this case, the signatory would be a partner representing their partnership in the signing of the official document. The partner will be required to appear before the notary public with the un-notarized instrument in hand, then provide sufficient identification and attest that the signature is their own. The notary public will then supply their official seal on the acknowledgement form thus officially notarizing the document.
