The North Carolina notary acknowledgement for a corporation is used to notarize a document which has been signed by an authorized corporate officer on behalf of a corporation. This type of notary certification is most often required for property transfers, but may also be used for business agreements and the like. The corporate officer who signed the document will need to bring the document and acknowledgement form to a notary public. Once the notary has confirmed the individual’s identity and viewed the document, they can fill out the acknowledgement form and affix their seal.
