Michigan Notary Acknowledgement – Corporation

A legal document that requires a notary acknowledgement must have the proper acknowledgement certificate attached thereto. Documents that have been signed by an officer or agent of a corporation should have a Michigan corporation notary acknowledgement form included therein. This signed document can then be presented to a notary public. The notary must positively identify the signer, either through personal knowledge or by identification. The signer will state that they signed the document under their own free will. Notarization is complete once the notary’s signature is inscribed on the notary acknowledgement form.
