The Arkansas notary acknowledgement for an attorney in fact shows evidence that an attorney in fact has willingly signed a document on the behalf of a principal individual. The notarial certificate proves that a notary public (or other licensed officer permitted to make acknowledgements) has verified the identity of the attorney in fact, confirmed their authority to sign the document on the principal’s behalf, and determined that they were competent while signing the document.
