Arkansas Notarial Certificate – Copy Certification

The Arkansas notarial certificate (copy certification) is an instrument indicating that a notary public has confirmed the accuracy of a reproduced document. The document custodian must deliver the original document to the notary public and prove their identity. After reviewing the document and identifying the custodian, the reproduction shall be produced (the notary must either witness the photocopying or make the copy him/herself).

Note: Notaries may not make reproductions of public or vital records (e.g., birth certificate, death certificate, court order, marriage license).
