Alaska Notary Acknowledgement – Individual

The Alaska notary acknowledgement for an individual is used to confirm the authenticity of a signature on a legal document. The person seeking acknowledgement of their signature must present the document before the notary public. It will be the responsibility of the notary to ensure the document is complete and to confirm the competency of the signer. Unless the individual is personally known to the notary, they must also provide identification containing their signature. After the identity is confirmed, the notary will fill out the acknowledgement form and affix their official seal or stamp.
